Arrival Procedure

• On arrival, all visitors must take part in a site safety briefing, including an explanation of emergency and evacuation procedures.

• Please follow all instructions given by staff at all times.

Welfare Facilities

• Toilet and handwashing facilities are available on site.

• Handwashing facilities include washbasin, soap, and running water.

• Hand sanitiser is also available if required.

• Visitors are encouraged to wash or sanitise hands, especially after contact with animals.

Supervision of Children

For the safety of all visitors and animals:

• Children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.

• Parents and carers are solely responsible for the safety and behaviour of children in their care.

• Children must follow all farm rules and behave calmly and safely around animals and farm equipment.

• Running, shouting, or unsafe behaviour around animals is not permitted.

• Any unsafe behaviour may result in visitors being asked to leave the premises.

• Unsupervised children are not permitted anywhere on the farm for safety reasons.

Animals & Equipment

• Please treat all animals with care and respect.

• Be aware that farm environments contain working machinery and equipment, which may pose hazards.

First Aid & Incidents

• First aid boxes are available on site.

• All accidents, injuries, or near misses must be reported to a member of staff.

• An incident reporting system is in place to ensure appropriate action is taken.
